Ghost! Yes you read it right. A ghost is floating around the Technopark campus and the adjacent Kerala University campus in Trivandrum. Its feet are not touched on the ground. This ghost has been featured in Malayala Manorama recently. They have traced its origin too. Obviously someone has to die before she gets to walk without her feet touching the ground. As the folklores would have it most of the ghosts were passionate lovers once upon a time; often one rich and the other one poor. The story is no different here too. Its been quite some time since we all began hearing about the ghost story in Karyavattom. The story was there for over 25 years. The place was a criminal hide out and ofcourse many people might have had bad experiences in the past, but not from ghosts, from real human beings.

There is another story also linked to that place. I am not sure whether its true or not. A girl was gang raped and killed in that place and her body was found in a pool some where inside the Vaidyan kunnu.

And news has been covered by manorama. Ahhh Manorama… who else covers this sort of stupidity. Anyways its now a talk of the town and we techies have one more topic to discuss over a coffee.
